Cadbury's Cocoa Reward Cards
Reward Cards were published for use in Schools and Sunday Schools as a prize for good attendance.
Shown below is a selection of Cadbury's Cocoa butterfly and moth reward cards published in 1910. The series consists of 32 cards in total showing butterfly and moth images and lifestages to the front and a description and advertisment for Cadbury's Cocoa on the reverse. There is also a space for a childs name to be added.
Alternative fronts
Unlike all the other reward cards shown above which read 'With the Compliments of the Proprietors of Cadbury's Cocoa', the card below reads 'With the Compliments of Cadbury Bros. Ltd'. On the reverse of the card the words 'REWARD CARD' is also different with the font used being in a 1930's style.
I am unaware of any details as to a re-issue of these cards or at what date this took place.
