This web site is privately funded by its creator Steven Cheshire for the benefit of anyone interested in learning about British Butterflies. Any income generated from this web site goes towards the development and upkeep of the site and the various costs it incurs. Annual running costs are in the region of £500 but this does vary from year to year and may increase as the site is developed further. We also licence photographs of butterflies on this web site to publishers and designers which also helps support this web site.
